I became passionate about gig photography
round about the same time I realised that my
phone camera wasn’t doing the business.

I switched through a few cameras until I settled on a Canon EOS 40D, and, after some consultation and testing, complementing it with a 50mm F1.4 Prime, 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM wide zoom and a 70-200 F2.8 IS USM telephoto, I got into my stride and now can’t get enough, shooting around 600-1,000 a night, the best of which appear at http://www.flickr.com/photos/adamreading
